Restorative management of the cleft patient: CLP series part 10
Although modern multidisciplinary management offers a higher likelihood of optimal outcome for the younger cleft patients, results can still be far from ideal, depending upon the severity of the initial defect, success of the various surgical and orthodontic treatments, the quality of the restorative interventions and, of course, the compliance and motivation of the patient.
