Central problems: orthodontic management of unerupted maxillary central incisors

Abstract

Failure of eruption of maxillary central incisor is a common clinical finding with highly significant implications. Problems of this nature result primarily from supernumerary teeth, other ectopic development or secondary to trauma. Successful management is of both cosmetic and psychological importance.
